While it doesn’t reinvent the wheels of its genre, Pugstorm’s Core Keeper emerges confidently out of early access and I’m looking forward to revisiting it over and over again in the coming years.

The early game is basically just punching through Core Keeper Gameplay barriers and filling up your pockets. This digging allows you to excavate different regions and grow the map. But the opening belies much more complexity behind the rocky walls. Like in Valheim

It seems that for now this game ID is necessary. You can’t currently drop into a stranger’s game or just open your own game to other players.

TL;DR: Core keeper is a game with potential, but with very shallow progression systems that can make it feel repetitive very quickly.
